About · Our Mission

Keeping seniors connected, informed, and independent.

ElderTech is a student-led nonprofit founded in Southlake, Texas. Today, our chapters and senior center partners bring patient, personalized technology support to seniors in communities across the country.

Our Mission

To help seniors stay connected, informed, confident, and independent in an increasingly digital world.

Technology now touches almost every part of daily life: staying in touch with family, managing health care, banking, and simply knowing what’s happening in the community. For many seniors, keeping up can feel overwhelming, and help isn’t always patient or nearby.

ElderTech closes that gap with student volunteers who show up in person, listen first, and explain things clearly. Through workshops, one-on-one support, and easy-to-follow guides, we help seniors solve today’s problem and feel ready for the next one.

    Strategic goals

Three priorities guide how ElderTech grows.

    1. Expand our chapter network

Grow student-led chapters into new communities, giving more students the tools to lead and more seniors access to support close to home.

    2. Deepen senior center partnerships

Build lasting relationships with senior centers and senior-care organizations so support is regular and reliable, not a one-time visit.

    3. Grow our library of tech guides

Keep creating clear, easy-to-follow guides that help seniors solve problems on their own and keep them solved.
